Camera Blocking
Camera Blocking is like choreography for actors and cameras. It is used in both single and multi camera set ups to tell the actors and cameras where to move for a variety of creative reasons. From making each scene more fluid and getting as much in each shot - making editing simpler and continuity easier to control, it also ensures that characters aren't being blocked by props, other actors etc but also to sometimes effectively block certain characters to make others the focus.
