Test Shoot today we picked a scene from our 10 week movie short and practiced with a test shoot, we compromised with location, actors etc but focused on the camera techniques, shots, angles and the art of camera blocking. We used a single camera set up with out editing to practice making our scene more fluid. we used a variety of shots from over the shoulder, to wide to close up to get professional looking angles and capture the actors emotion. This is especially important in our Short because it is a silent film so the actors emotion must display the storyline. We did 3 test shoots and progressed on each one to use the shots we liked and develop on them.
